How do I delete a patch I made in Syntronik?

It's a great sounding plugin but boy the user interface is terrible!

Yes, you can delete a patch you made. You click the menu button (three lines, sometimes called a "toaster" or "hamburger" button) next to your patch name when loaded and choose "Delete"

Thanks! But nope. it says "Empty, Save or Save as" Empty does not delete the patch it just empties the slot. I want it gone for good.

That's not the correct dropdown. You have to be in the part of the interface where you set layers, etc.

I'm sorry when I'm in the part that has the four layers it says the same thing.

Is there a folder where the patches are stored I can access to delete from there?

I am not always here (though typically quite a lot ). I would recommend contacting IK Support as we are not seeing the same thing.

I think that innerdream is talking about deleting an individual instrument preset and Peter is talking about deleting a 4-layer Multi.

There is an invisible Delete (X) button to the left of the preset name. Hover over it to see it. Then you can delete the preset. It looks like you can delete the factory instruments too, so be careful.

The Developers really need to fix that invisibility and document it in the User Manual. Oddly, the screenshot in 3.1 does show the X but it is not described.)

I see the "hiden X" but it says to delete the instrument only.

Come on IK this is a great sounding instrument, design a nice interface please! I'm not going to invest any money into it the way it is.

An instrument is a patch, in Syntronik (and ST3), to my thinking.

To help out Peter and me, can you please clarify exactly how you created the patch, what it is named and where it is listed in Syntronik?

It says it's going to delete the instrument from the disk. So, I don't think what you said is correct.

Why can't I access the folder where the presets are located and just delete the dang thing! I have spent 3 hours trying to delete a g-darn patch...CrAzY!

Screw it, I'll live with it. Nice instrument, terrible interface.

I'm sorry to hear that. It is almost certainly a misunderstanding of terms.

But we cannot help if we do not know exactly what you mean; we have offered suggestions but they do not seem relevant to your particular issue. Can you let us know how you created the patch, what it is named and where it is listed in Syntronik?

Syntronik allows me to delete a single instrument ("Patch" in my terms) or a single Multi (referencing up to 4 instruments, sets of FX, arpeggio patterns etc).
