This is AWESOME! The new model looks to be a Dingwall, which is something I've LOOOOOOOOONG wanted.

Very excited to see the update! Thank you.
A couple things I would love to see in a future update:

When using the low string action, there are one or two adjacent notes in every model, higher up the neck that are "miss-fretted" ...very realistic but it renders those one or two notes as practically unusable.
Fretted slides could still use some attention. Perhaps a key switch that would allow you to actually play a gliss on the keyboard. Then you could more easily control the speed, dynamics and target note of the slide.
A "repeat last note" key switch would be great for fast repeated articulations.

Again, thank you for the new update! MODO Bass is an amazing bit of modeling magic.

Has anybody got this to work yet? I've loaded into my DAW, and it doesn't seem to load properly. I have a buddy trying to run it on mac and it just keeps crashing.

Two. One for up stroke, the other for down stroke.

Any way for MIDI to CC toggle between fingered and slapped articulations?

LOVING these two new basses! Thanks, IK. BTW, don't assume the "Metal" bass is only for metal music — the Dingwall bass that its based on was not designed for metal stuff, it's just a bass preferred by some metal bands because the tonal settings are so darned flexible.

Any way this could be used live, to change to bass being played, routed through Amplitube 4?!

Yes you can use MODO BASS as a plugin or standalone live, controlled with a MIDI controller. If you'd like to route it through AmpliTube you'd want to run a DAW live.

I am/was a decent bass guitar player but fingers no longer cooperate. I am wondering if it can be used in a live band that plays 60's thru 80's songs - rock and roll, blues, popular, virtually anything really. I don't care about real bass or keys just that it can handle it if I can play it and that it will sound good. I can not find any demos of this type of oldies using midi bass so I am asking.

Any help directing me or telling me about how it is used would be helpful.

Thank you

John
