Hi
I do not know if this helps,
I had an older I7 computer from 2009.It was a Red Sub one from Gear for music.
I upped the ram to 12 gig , but my motherboard/graphics card and all other parts and bios were not upgradeable anymore.
I had crash after crash and nothing would make Sampletank work without a crash or blue screen.
It always came up with a box saying there is something wrong Inside Sampletank.
I had a right old time with that and took Sampletank out.
My computer died in December and I had another computer built from PC Specialists in uk.
Cost me £1700.This time I had 32 gig ram put in. maybe over the top ,but works great.
I reloaded Sampletank and now It plays flawlessly and Is also fast and so is Syntronic.
No matter what people say computers need to keep up with all the updates nowadays as Chipsets, Motherboards and Grapic Cards etc need updating to keep up with the times.
I reckon a computer needs changing every 6 to 7 years approximately.
All this may not be your problem, but all I can say is, I did have this experience you have.
All the best
John
