The advertising copy and videos leave me quite uncertain about one point. You can, apparently, mix and match elements from the 38 physical synths to create new sounds. But can you also play (the emulations of) the 38 physical synths themselves, without such modifications? If so, how many of the 2,000 presets are unmodified emulations of this kind?

Can a rep from IK Multimedia join that discussion?

The product is not yet fully finalized so the specifics on the number of presets that are from patches on the actual synths themselves is not information that is available at this time.

After decades, Propellerheads is taking down Rebirth from the app store because it impinges on Roland's intellectual property.

Is this an issue for Syntronik? Do you an arrangement with Roland to use versions of their synths?

Compared to other companies, Roland has done relatively little to port their hardware synths to computers and iOS, but now they want people to buy into their pricey Roland cloud to get access to their vintage sounds.

I'm not trying to cause trouble. Just curious about what the future will hold.

IK is a global company for more than 20 years which operates well within all applicable laws and regulations.

I guess the difference is that although you have ten synths in Syntronik that you identify as Roland synths, they aren't emulations, they use samples. They give you patches, but not the same experience you would get using an Arturia emulation or one of Roland's own new online synths.
