Am slowly working my way through the upgrade but so far rather disappointed - a list is being prepared! But first major problem: no piccolos at all. Samples seem to be there but no sound!

I do not think the users can edit the key-switches. This feature was requested for ST3 shortly after its release. So it is somewhere on the radar.

In ST3, I also tried opening a key-switched Multi, selecting an articulation then saving it as a new instrument. But on opening that I still get the first articulation selected.

I didn't feel the feature was necessary in ST3 much.

On the other hand, however, there are many articulations which are not assigned to Key-Switches in MP2 and it's necessary to use a wide variety of the articulations for expressive/realistic orchestrations. So, I really hope IK considers implementing a custom Key-Switches function.
Otherwise, I could end up using more than 10 tracks just for one instrument.

OK Thanks. Didn't think to try that high! Very limited range - the non authentic range of Piccolo in MV1 still more useful!

I am finding that when I play 14 violins multi that D3 and C3 and E3 are very low in volume even when played hard, but when playing B2 A2 and the open G the volume raises again, all the higher notes are ok.

I have reported to support:

has any one experienced this

Also does any one get a scratch or glitch sound about 2 seconds into playing B2 this is also when playing 14 violins multi and some of the sustain violins.

Have also reported this but I am looking for confirmation

Hi,
the violin just started with G2. So there is no sound on B2, A2. The volume at D3, C3 and E3 are equally loud.

Sorry I get my notes mixed up,

Starting from G2 going up the scale, D3 C3 E3 notes are very low in volume please check, if its just me I will reinstall the software.

also B 3 or the note before C3 has a glitch sound but must be pressed hard,

these issues are in 14 violin multi and some other sustained violins.

I am not seeing any of the volume/pressure anomalies you describe - all notes in the range respond as expected. I am running MP2 as a VST instrument in Ableton Live with Push 2 as midi input, Windows 10 x64.

I don't doubt you are experiencing real problems. In fact, if you think about all the hardware/software layers in the audio chain between the tips of your fingers and your ears, it is a bloody miracle to me that anything works at all. :)

Miroslav Philharmonik 2 first tutorial on utube will get the link

and the link is here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3jl0jbQdITg check it out nothing you dont already know but to refresh your mind cant hurt

What I am hoping is there is going to be a tutorial about adding any articulation to your own custom key ;) I think with all those stand alone articulations sometimes over 30 in the strings

This is what we need, but we would need to come up with our own custom multi
