Hello everybody:-)
I have purchased the IRIG2 via Amazon which I will receive tomorrow, hurray!
My humble question is: will AmpliTube appear automatically in the Garage Band app, can I open both at the same time and combine them or do I need another app or gadget to make both join?

Hello,

Thanks for your post. We are happy to hear of your iRig 2 purchase.

The AmpliTube CS app will need to be downloaded from the Apple App Store. Once done, your AmpliTube app will automatically become an option under Inter-app Audio Instruments/Effects. Feel free to select either of these options.

Don't forget with the iRig 2 you will be granted some gear in the AmpliTube CS app. To unlock this, register your iRig 2 in the Menu -> Account page.

Hey Mona! Great choice with the iRig2! AmpliTube won’t appear inside GarageBand, but you can use both together. You’ll run AmpliTube for your tone and then route that into GarageBand. Apps like Audiobus or using Inter-App Audio (if still supported) can help bridge them. Have fun jamming!
