Alex Skolnick Signature Presets - Where do I put them?

I have a folder of Alex Skolnick Signature Presets, where do I place them?

Install Instructions

- Close down AmpliTube (if open)
- Place the preset folder into your AmpliTube presets directory:

macOS
Macintosh HD > Users > *USER* > Documents > IK Multimedia > AmpliTube 5 > Presets

Windows
C:\Users\*USER*\Documents\IK Multimedia\AmpliTube 5\Presets or
C:\Users\*USER*\OneDrive\Documents\IK Multimedia\AmpliTube 5\Presets if using OneDrive

- Open AmpliTube

The presets are now ready for use!

One clarification for macOS - you can have your Documents folder inside iCloud. If you've done that the path would be

 iCloud Drive→Documents→IK Multimedia→AmpliTube 5→Presets

Once you are there you can organize your presets any way you like. I never liked the default structure as when I browse for an amp I rather do it by instrument and mfg. The default structure reflects the history of the product so it's probably useful for folks that have used AT for a while but I just found it difficult to find things.

I have a folder structure that starts like this
Artist
Mfg
Personal

I would put the Alex Skolnick under the Artist folder. Under Mfg I have
Bass
Guitar
Pedal
Then when I want to find say an Orange Amp I just go to the Guitar→Orange folder

Under your personal folder you can store all your custom presets for songs or make copies of standard presets.
