Purchasing Amplitube 5 software as a gift

Does anyone know if I purchase Amplitube 5 for someone else, if they can use it or will the purchase be under my account only?

If you purchase on the website the software is automatically added to your account.
You can purchase from an authorized dealer such as Sweetwater.com. You will receive a serial number you can gift if you purchase from them.
