PLEASE HELP! Invalid Tone Model Error

Hey all,
New to the ToneX platform but not to modelers. Kemper, Fractal, Helix user.

I downloaded the latest “65 JM BluesMaker” tone model from Tone Junkie but when I try to import everything into ToneX, I get an error message saying, “Invalid Tone Model. Please update ToneX.”

This seems like an easy fix, however I’m running the latest version of ToneX Max and ToneX One software. Soooooo updating isn’t an option.

Software:
MacOS Sequoia 15.0.1 AND Windows 11(both operating systems give the same message)
ToneX Max 1.8
AmpliTube 5 Max
ToneX One 1.2.6

Steps I’ve tried:
- Deleting ToneX completely and re-installing/authorizing
- Unplugged ToneX pedal from computer and tried to import (thought here was maybe there was some sort of incompatibility of tone model and ToneX One)

It’s a very trusting error message to get considering I paid for the presets and any of the other presets I have from TJ work just fine.

Did you buy the ToneJunkie Tone Models on ToneNet? If you didn't, you might want to reach out to ToneJunkie directly to see if others are having problems with that specific Tone Model.

Ya I reached out to Tone Junkie because I purchased it directly from TJ. Other people were apparently having the same problem. He sent me a new set and it’s all good now!

I figured it had to be something odd like that since it was only the one. Great that he got it sorted quickly for you. Now you can focus on better things like playing :)
