I hear saturation, particularly on kick drums on the iLoud Micro Monitor Pro when I plug my Akai Force directly (Jack -> RCA) and the level is extremely high even when both level knobs are low (on the Force and the iLoud Micro monitors.)
I am no specialist but could it be that the Akai Force outputs a too strong signal?
Akai force specs state that for the main outputs:
_Maximum Output Level +20 dBu
_Output Impedance 51-ohm
iLoud Micro monitors pro states:
_Sensitivity (XLR): -10 dBu signal generates 90 dB SPL @ 1 m
_Sensitivity (RCA): -22 dBu signal generates 90 dB SPL @ 1m
