MODO BASS whole "engine" stops sound when playing E string

Thanks for the response Peter, I appreciate it. I put the version number (2.0.3) I am running in my comment, which is the most current update. I contacted IK using the form in the link you posted, but nobody ever got back to me.

I seem to have the same problem still.

My version is 2.0.3, and after the update, as been mentioned here before, it kills not only the bass sound, but all the sound on my mac. I'm using logic, and it happens every time, but I'm not exactly sure what the trigger is.

I want to complain about this, I need my bass. :/

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Have you reported your issues to IK Support via https://www.ikmultimedia.com/contact-support/sw ? They will be able to help you.

Hi, did anyone get a resolve on this? I see there’s been no update and I’m having the same issue.

I’m using a Mac Studio, OS Sonoma (latest version), Logic Pro (latest version) and latest version of Modo Bass 2.

I often get a Logic warning as the song loads saying one of the Audio Units has crashed and it closes Logic. Only plug in that can be causing this is Modo through going through all the ones I’m using. When it does work, I can be playing a song and suddenly all sound goes. I restart the song and everything works except Modo. I have to quit and start again.

This happens several times a day, and considering I’m finishing an album it is really (swear word) me off. So much time wasted!

I opened a ticket a couple of weeks ago. The ticket number is 2074310. I didn’t get any response, unfortunately. But also, I’m not sure if they can help without updating the plugin if that’s a problem with it.

That's not normal they typically respond within a day or two max. I will send your ticket number to our support manager.
