About MODO DRUM panning

Postby Oscar0208 » Wed Sep 04, 2024 4:56 pm

Hi guys, I recently installed the free version of MODO DRUM. Excellent sound. However, when it comes to panning the different drum components, I don't perceive any difference. The sounds sound in the same place no matter how much I pan left or right.

I wonder if there is something I need to check, or if it is because I have the free version.

Thanks for your help.

Try muting or turning down the room and overheads.
As far as I can tell, the room and overhead channels have 'baked in' positioning for the pieces of the drum kit. I pulled up and tested 3 kits to verify this, and they all did that.
