After the training capture completed in Tonex, the next step to start training would fail after 15-20 seconds of wait time with an error containing this text:
... Traceback is disabled via bootloader option
I won't waste time with the unnecessary details, but I can say that the issue was due to Microsoft OneDrive. Based on a comment in this thread, I discovered that my IK Multimedia\TONEX\Modeling folder was being stored under \Users\mynamehere\OneDrive and was also marked to be stored in "the cloud" (someone else's computer). Of course I tried uninstalling OneDrive (which I do not recommend even though it's the most sh*t software I've ever encountered), but that didn't work and I lost some files - yay.
To fix this nonsense, I had to:
- Find my IK Multimedia directory
- Right click and choose "Always keep on this device"
- Wait forever for OneDrive to "sync"
- Re-capture then train in Tonex
After all this it finally is working for me now. Hope this helps anyone experiencing the class F software SNAFU regarding Tonex and OneDrive. I can't really fault IK for this since I discovered that the majority of people seem to absolutely hate Microsoft for sneaking that one in.
