FWIW, this also happens on my system using both Cakewalk and Cantabile and using various audio interfaces. It drives me nuts as I would love to use Modo Bass live for my trio, but I really can't.

I updated to pro tools 2024.6 and the issue seemed to go away for me

Hi there.

I had this problem, using Ableton Live 11.

In the MIDI section of preferences, under Link heading - Start Stop Sync - the box was checked to off.

I turned it on and the problem of sustaining notes (stuck playing after playback is stopped) in Modo Bass 2 appears to be solved.

Not sure about other DAWs, but worth having a look in the main MIDI preferences / settings if there is a Start Stop Sync option.

I have the same issue. Notes are sustaining for eternity.
