Update caused all favorites to disappear.

I updated Ampl 5 for Tonenet access and all my selected favorites and custom created presets disappeared.

Same happend to me. After unistalling and installing again via IK Product Manager all collections and presets appeared again inside Amplitube 5.
Also try deauthorize and authorize again if necessary.
The presets were not gone. They are under documents > Ik Multimedia > Amplitube 5 > Presets.

You should now be able to rebuild your preset database within AmpliTube 5 and the preset database will be regenerated maintaining previous favorites.

That seems like the opposite behavior of what I described above so I would recommend consulting IK Support for direct and official technical support for your issue. Thank you.

I had written to support the same day, but have not heard back yet. If I at least knew where or how the favorites are stored. Then I could reconstruct the favorites from my backup. but I can't find any clues on the internet. I have checked all amplitube presets for several weeks and starred my favorites. If this work is gone now, I'll have a nervous breakdown.

After all my favourites were deleted with the 2022 update, the support team couldn't help me any further. So I started checking all my presets again and marking my favourites. Some time ago, an update deleted all my favourites again, which is why I put a voodoo doll on IK Multimedia and stopped using Amplitube for a long time.

I updated again today and thought I'd play around with it a bit. I own the full version and used to be able to use most of the presets. Today most of the presets are locked for me. I can only use a handful of the 386 stored presets. I've reinstalled and re-authorised Amplitube, I've re-downloaded and reinstalled the preset packs, but that hasn't helped.

According to my notes, I also bought "AmpliTube SVX 2" "Heavy-weight bass gear collection" with my purchase. That doesn't appear anywhere.
What's going wrong with IK Multimedia?

By the way: I wonder where the user's favourites are stored. Is it a txt file somewhere or is it stored in the programme?

The forum admins, moderators, nor users have access to see what's going on with your authorizations and the Favorites question would also be something they would handle. I'd suggest replying to an existing ticket or opening a new one with them and they'll assist you.

Thank you for your feedback. I have now found out that there is a "restore purchases" button. This gives me access to the database again. I'll clarify the rest with support.
