arc 4 software only help please

the manual is confusing.
put arc 4 on master but last? then it says when your finished mixing etc etc turn off.
i use as im a novice ezmix so ive got that on master too
it also says to keep arc 4 on all the time?
so this is my point if it goes on last but your told to keep it on it doesnt make sense.
i dont put mixing tools on until the end so if i do how can arc 4 be last on the chain?

You need to turn ARC 4 off when you bounce/render your mix for final output.

Ok I've now got these items
Arc 4 software for my daw
Mems microphone ik
Boom stand
The software to set up mems
When Im doing the 21 point set up do I need to have arc open in daw????
I'm using axe io for mems on phantom power.
I will follow step by step.
The main question is how does arc 4 in daw know the final results?
