iRig HD 2 and Ipad 7 /Iphone 12 Pro

I've just received my iRig HD2, tried to connect it to my iPad and iPhone, both using Amplitube and Garage band, and the devices do not see the interface. I used the USB - Lightnning cable provided in the box. When connected to my W10 laptop with different USB-USB cable, the blue LED comes on. Is this a problem with the lightning cable provided with the device?

Just an update, got myself an Apple Camera Connection Kit, the device got powered up, but only dim LED was on, no response when Garageband or Amplitube was started. I've returned the iRig device to the seller, got replaced with another unit, this one works flawless without CCK, both Amplitube and Garageband recognize the device. I guess the previous one was faulty (purchased it as new, but the SN was already registered).
