MODO BASS whole "engine" stops sound when playing E string

This is a weird bug and I'm hoping anyone has any advice:

When playing notes on the E string the whole plugin just drops the sound. Pressing the ! panic button revives it.

Quite simply unplayable.

Latest Logic Pro and UAD LUNA on 16" M1 Pro Macbook Pro.

Thank you for your reply, Peter. Unfortunately I came to the forums after unsuccessfully reaching out to the official technical support. It's been months if not years, and there's still no response. Let alone a fix.

IK Support responds to every ticket so I'm sure there's something else going on. They are the official medium for technical support and are committed to assisting you. Please provide your ticket number(s) where you did not get a response and I can have someone take a look.

@Cdbaksu84 This is a bug other users have experienced and reported, included myself. Sometimes it happens more frequently than others. Support told me they let Engineering know. You aren't alone, but it hasn't been fixed yet.

This is happening to me as well. Any time the E string is played (5 string bass) all sound stops.

So I've found a possible workaround fix ... The issue seems to be triggered by the lowest string. So if I need 5 strings, I add a 6th string to the bass, then the problem happens every time the 6th string is triggered. So I add a keyswitch to force E string (5th) whenever the MODO Bass player would automatically choose the B string (6th). [mod redacted, unnecessary]

This long-reported issue is supposed to be fixed in the 2.0.3 update announced today: "Resolved an issue where MODO BASS 2 would stop producing sound."

Can anyone else confirm?

I just downloaded the update to Modo Bass 2 because of the low E string BS and NO! It now kills Logic Completely. Modo Bass 2 is officially unusable...

That is not the typical behavior, the testing team uses Logic as one of their higher priority DAWs when testing the software. Please report your issue to IK Support at https://www.ikmultimedia.com/contact-support/sw and they'll assist you with the issue you're experiencing in your setup. Thank you.

Thanks for the reply.
After uploading the update it crashed Logic. Closed Logic then loaded the song and it was ok the whole day yesterday. This morning it crashed Logic again but this time it crashed despite opening and closing Logic. This only happens with Modo Bass 2 and NOT Modo Bass 1.

Just wanted to chime in here. I am experiencing the same problem. It's easily recreated and consistent. When a 5 or 6 string bass hits E1, the audio playback pops and there is no Modo Bass 2 output after that. Removing/changing the E1 and replaying the section will fix it. So will using a 4 string bass (no problems whatsoever with E1). Like others have mentioned, this is unique to MB2, it does not occur with MB1.

Thanks for the response Peter, I appreciate it. I put the version number (2.0.3) I am running in my comment, which is the most current update. I contacted IK using the form in the link you posted, but nobody ever got back to me.
