Amplitube vs Tonex

after extensively playing both, I can say that I still prefer amp modelling to the AI capture tech. That's just me, but to me amp modelling does everything the other can do. But of course with IK you can use both at same time and that's great too. Just saying to IK that to me amp modelling hasn't been superseded at all, and that I hope to see Amplitube 6 soon!

Yes I somewhat agree... AT5 has great models and can be tweaked a lot. Tonex needs a whole bunch of captures for different settings. Horses for courses I guess... They are both very good.
