AT4 had a preferences setting that let you turn oversampling on and off. I find nothing of the sort in AT5. I can find no mention of oversampling either in the AT5 manual, or in this forum except in relation to the iOS/iPadOS version of AT5.
So.
- Does the Mac version of AT5 perform oversampling?
- Can I turn oversampling off and on in the AT5 plugin?
- What are the technical details: does AT5 always oversample to e.g. 96K? Or to 192K? Or 4x the host sample rate? Does it skip oversampling if the host sample rate is sufficiently high?
- Does every single module, amp, plugin, and cab perform oversampling, or just some?
Thanks.
