It's been weeks of contacting support regarding the "unable to connect to tone.net"

Still can't connect after hundreds of repeated, re-installation, logout, reauthorize, I even turned off the firewall to test.

Frustrating. Tonemax was connecting perfectly to the Net the last few days since I bought a new Tonex pedal and installed software and now it's suddenly stopped connecting. I've tried all the workarounds.

IK Support definitely do want to help with any issue reported to them. Unfortunately some are not resolved on the first try. Please try again as I believe the devs and IT folks have updated ToneNET which should resolve this issue for many.

I have the same issue. Tried raising a ticket but no response for 24 hours already. Felt anticlimactic because I'm so excited to try this when it finally arrived here but since then I've spent more time trying to make the software work instead of playing the gear. Can I get the ODS legends dumble without connecting to tonenet? It's a bit frustrating honestly.

I have tried:
1. unauthorizing and then authorizing
2. switching off the firewall
3. installing all drivers (including asio)
4. Installing Amplitube
5. trying a different computer
6. Restoring purchase
7. Clicking the tone.net button in the upper right corner
8. turning off antivirus

Second day fidling around with the unit. I always receive Error 1000. :(

Tried using a VPN and it finally connected. Was trying to conmect from the Philippines when I got the error.

Hoping they fix the issue so I don't have to work around this.

I'm having the same issue, guys. I'm running MacOS Monterey. I've done all the workarounds I can think of (all the ones posted in this thread and from IK Support thus far) including allowing the apps to connect via the firewall settings in settings. I just did a factory reset on my Asus router and can't see that it's blocking the app.

Really bummed that this is happening.

Hi, has anyone discovered a solution to this?
Im having the same problem with a recently purchased amplitube 5 max.
I installed and authorized no problem with IK manager.
But when I run the standalone Amplitube 5, The ToneNet button has a red dot. Clicking ToneNet just shows "Unable to connect to ToneNet".

Very disappointing.

I have the same problem. After not using it for a few months, Tone.net will not recognize my Tonex One pedal. I've tried the work-around on this thread, but it is still not working. Any advice?

ToneNET communicates with the software, not the pedal directly. Do you have an open ticket with IK Support? If not, I'd suggest opening one so they can assist you directly via https://www.ikmultimedia.com/contact-support/sw
