Hello, I just bought the: z-tone di , it arrived today and I immediately plugged it in and tried it out.
I immediately noticed that something was not right, the felling under the fingers was not ok.
I immediately connected my second di box: Radial PRO 48 active DI box and everything was ok.
Then I tried to record both di boxes in Reaper,simultaneously.
The signal chain goes like this:
Guitar - cable - Z-Tone DI input - link out - short cable to Radial PRO 48 input (-15db pad on),
from both di boxes I use xlr cables to my interface (focusrite scarlett 8i6 3rd gen),
both channels, channel 1 and channel 2 (gain) are set almost the same, on my interface 0.3 db difference.
Recording in my DAW Reaper.
But when i records both channels, after recording i zoom in and see that both amplitudes are out of phase.
No matter how I turn it, the signal chain, first the z-tone then radial pro48 or vice versa,
Z-Tone DI is always out of phase with radial pro 48 di box ??
Please, I need advice or an explanation why is this happening ???
Maybe the z-tone di box is defective or faulty?
