I wanted to post this as I think this is a breakthrough for me at the moment.
I've noticed that on my Acer i5 8GB Laptop that the AT5 / AXE IO Solo would basically become unplayable after around 5 mins or so due to massive hisses coming through continutally.
However, I have now upgraded to the latest AT5 and if I have the TP Link 5G dongle disconnected from my laptop, and the Laptop wireless off, I can play for hours with no issues.
