can you use any standard wah pedals with amplitube 5 by having it run through the guitar line in?

I use a Nektar Pacer with a Nextar Wah expression pedal connected to it. This controls the first expression input. I have a Crybaby and an EVH analog and they will work because a Wah goes in the chain first but can be problematic if you need compression so I just went with the expression pedal route so I can put it where ever I need it.

In short: Yes.
I spent years and years using a standard wah pedal in front of my audio interface, running into AmpliTube. It works just as you would hope and expect.
That said, I got an AXE I/O a couple of years ago, and now I use a MIDI expression pedal with that (to control wah, but also other things).
