changed interface, now amplitube doesn't work?

Rookie here, please bare with me.. Hoping this is an easy fix...
My DAW (presonus) accepts my new interface fine and works great. However, when I try to add A5 to a track, I'm only getting the raw sound from the guitar, so no amps and stuff are working. A5 is showing input/output from guitar. I also clicked the tuner and it's not getting a guitar signal (just showing F, which i assume is just hum)
I watched a video showing an Audio/Midi selection tab in A5 to do an interface set up, (the 3 lines button beside the custom shop button) but for some reason my A5 does not even have that tab...I've literally clicked on everything in A5 to try to find an 'add new interface' option, but with no success. Hope this makes sense and any insight would be appreciated.

Are you trying to setup audio on A5 from inside the daw or from A5 standalone?

Inside the DAW. My iRig2 was not a problem at all. Used it for a couple years, but it's been acting up, so I went with another interface. (didnt mention that)

The reason I said to try on the 'stand alone' version is because that is where you can adjust A5's Audio/Midi settings ( you will find the '3 lines' there). As far as 'Audio 1' and using a Mac, there have been issues with drivers and needed firmware updates. I can suggest a comparable alternative to NA 1 as far as price point and dimensions (footprint), the AXE I/O one is, IMHO, a great all around interface.
I have not had an issue with any of the IK interfaces when using modeling software. I use Amplitube as well as NI Guitar rig 5 with it.
It is important to have your drivers up to date with and hardware you choose.
There are many forum discussions about 'NI komplete audio' and Mac issues.
Let me know how this turns out.

The stand-alone AT5 program does have the Audio/MIDI Preference Settings.

The AY5 plug-ins do not. Audio/MIDI settings would be handed in the DAW's [
Preferences.
