I have just bought the monitors through amazon.es
I set it up to test and found it distorts the sound.
I made the video. The sound is played with low-pass filter, cutting everything above 200Hz. You can hear the high sound cracks coming from bass reflex port.

I tried cable and bluetooth connection, phone and mac source of sound. Different power sources. Swithced EQ. BTW the video recorded with very low monitors volume level.
The distorted sound exists everywhere, it generated by sub bass freqs.
E.g.: you can use Boris Brejcha tracks like Purple Noise to check it.
