Windows Defender Detects virus

Hi

Windows defender says the download for Syntronik_2_1_1.zip has a virus!

Same for SampleTank_4_2_3.zip

Trojan:Script/Wacatac.H!ml

Hopefully this isn't true, but obviously, I've deleted the file and not opened it.

Almost certainly false positives - otherwise many other users would have reported it.

Other users may chip in with suggestions.

Search the FAQs first, as there may be relevant results. After that, you should see a [Contact Support] button at the bottom of the page, linking you to the Support form.

Had the same thing today after installing SampleTank. I've logged a ticket. Hoping it's a false positive. Windows Defender is saying I have an active threat, the file listed is in the IK Product Manager download folder, but doesn't exist as it was blocked and then I deleted it.

Doing a full scan just in case

Lots of instances of false positives in the last 24hrs for all kinds of stuff. I bet a windows defender update will be coming shortly that will fix it....
