How does upgrading Amplitube 5 work with sales?

I have Amplitube 5 and just noticed that Amplitube 5 Max is now on sale. Since I already have 5 how does upgrading work? Will I still have to pay the full sale price of 5 Max ?

During the sale the price is the same for an upgrade, crossgrade or new purchase - $99.

Keep in mind that there is a fair amount of gear that is exclusive to AT5 MAX, something like 4 amps, 5 cabs, and 9 stomps, so it may still be a worthwhile upgrade. But it does not have the X-GEAR plugs.

Thanks. This is good to know mom trying to find a list of all the amps that come with 5 Max. And oh man I don’t even know what X Gear is. I’m afraid to look
