I am a new iRig HD 2 owner, and I’m hoping people here can help me before I return this product.
I recognize the IK Multimedia site has links to “Contact Support”, yet I’m having difficulty accessing the contact form for technical support on an iPad.
My ideal setup is:
- Connect guitar to iRig HD 2
- Connect iRig HD 2 via USB C to my 11” iPad Air
- Connect headphones (Bose, wired) to iRig HD 2
This is not working… and I had tested via my iPhone (Lightning) and via my MacBook Pro (USB C).
What I do see:
- Light blue light
- Dark blue light (I assume this is standby)
- Something is “toggling” the input in the software/OS… When using GarageBand as an example, this makes the UI flicker and the volume controls slide (automatically)
What I don’t see:
- Green light
- There is no audio going into AmpliTube or GarageBand on both iPad, iPhone and MacBook Pro devices.
Do I have a defective unit?
