I just tried the ToneX software for the first time after purchasing the pedal. Accounts created, reauthorized, latest software, ... same dang message. 103: Please verify that you have created a valid ToneNET account.
I contacted them, but even that was "hard". When you click on support, you are being sent to FAQs, and no real clear means to raise a product case. I would expect that customers who bought a product have a means to contact support different than the outside community for their questions.
Overall, a bit of a disappointing experience as a new customer to be honest.
