I made a folder of presets where the real names (based on the above list) are mapped to their Amplitube Counterparts

There's nothing but the amplitube-amp and it's corresponding cabinet in the presets, but it's handy when you want to find an amp by it's real name

You can get it here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1lnJIHh ... p=drivesdk

No problem guys!

I realised that it would be nice to also have the amplitube-name in the preset as well, so I renamed them all in this format "<real name> (amplitube name)" - so if you already downloaded, you might want to do it again

This is great! Where do we place these amps? I can only find presets on the Amplitube folders, can't find the files for the amps themselves.

I put the list in "code" tags to make the thread easier to read.

@acebone, thanks so much for your post; it is so helpful, thanks so much. Is it something similar for effects? It would be great to have those names.

This is very helpful. Does anyone have or know of a comparable list showing the real world analogs for the cabs, effects pedals, and other gear?

Yes. I can understand how CABs are referenced. But how are Amps done, they are not IR's as such? papa's games
