Live Mode works - Record Mode No Sound??

Postby golden1one » Sun Jan 01, 2023 11:54 pm

Hi all, been playing and having a great time with my Amplitube 5 a lot.
It’s been 3 weeks and I have not been able to record.

“Live Mode” works fine.
“Record Mode” no sound coming through.

Any track I drop ins plays fine. The DAW actually works fine.
Just not getting the audio feed to the Mixer or Recorder side.

Amplitube 5 Max “Standalone” internal 8-track Recorder
Mixer > No SOUND
Records , but blank.

AmpliTube 5 Audio / Midi - Set correctly: input & output
Apple Preferences “Sound” - Set correctly: input & output

Using M-Audio “FastTack” USB input
Using external headphones [headphones or computer speakers)

Watched YouTube Tutorials: These are good

“How to Import, Create and Export Backing Tracks in Amplitube 5” by Guitar School Live

“Import audio files to 8-track recorder in Amplitube 5” by Mika Erik

How to add effects when recording with AmpliTube by Marco G. Di Marco

“How to access the DAW within Amplitube 5” by Musical Modeling Maniac

———————————————————————
Works just like other DAW’s . . .
Basic Instructions are:
- Select a “track.”
- Make sure “Amplitube” button is ON
- Choose “preset” from list (replace “default”)
example: Amplitube 5 Max > “Cliffs of Eric”
- Select the little “RED” button [record]
- Little “green Light” comes on
- Nothing . . .

Any help would be appreciated.

Try enabling permissions for AmpliTube 5.

This can be managed in System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy tab.

1.). On the left area of this window, you will see permission categories such as Camera, Microphone, Files & Folders. Select Microphone and make sure that AmpliTube 5 is enabled there.
2.). On the left area of this window, you will see permission categories such as Camera, Microphone, Files & Folders. Select Files & Folders and make sure that AmpliTube is enabled for "Documents" there.
