How do I change the Sampletank install folder?

When I install Sampletank it doesn't give me an option of where to install. How do I change the default install folder?

Hello and welcome to the forum.

BEFORE you install the ST4 library, using the iK Product Manager, click on "More options", select "Install to" and select the desired folder.

When the library is installed. run the ST4 stand-alone program, and in its Preference Settings, add that folder (maybe delete the unused one too).

Thanks but I'm referring to the ST program not the library.

Ah,

Well during the install you can select the folder for the program ad for the VST2 (and other?) plug-ins. But some items are installed into fixed locations.

When I try to install it says it needs several hundred MB and the install drive only has 40MB. So it isn't trying to install to my boot drive, which has enough space. If the location is fixed why would it try to install to a non-boot drive?

I think I changed the install location when I bought ST several months ago. But I don't remember how I changed it.

I must be blind, but I don't see 'More Options' in the IK Product Manager. The installation is defaulting to my OneDrive Documents folder which is quickly filling up.

I've looked at the manual and I see where 'More Options' is supposed to appear, but it doesn't actually exist in my Product Manager.

You are on the [Sounds} tab, not the [Software] tab, aren't you?

And within the 180 days download period?

Plan B: Run the stand-alone program and select (and create, if needed) the desired destination folder there. When the IKPM then runs the sound library installer, it should pick up that folder.

Thanks for the reply. The products I'm trying to install are SampleTank, Modo Drum and Modo Bass and they don't appear in the Sounds tab.
