Hey all,
This song was partly recorded up at the latest cottage session though was quite far along beforehand. I suppose it could be adult contemporary with a 6/8 jazzy ending but, either way, hope you’ll have a listen and enjoy.
It represents a fair bit of experimenting with stereo recording as I snagged a matched pair of small condenser mics recently so these were used to re-record all the acoustic and classical guitar tracks at the cottage. Post-cottage, solidified vox ideas and the lyrics are very loosely based on a few years ago when we lost our 9 year old daughter (temporarily) on Bourbon Street in New Orleans during St. Patrick’s Day weekend…..that’ll get your heart rate up!
