Installed sounds of syntronic 2 in different disk [Resolved]

Postby MemoDiaz » Fri Jul 01, 2022 12:27 am

Hi, maybe this topic has been discussed but I can't find info, I have 2 questions:
Is it possible to install the sounds of syntronic2 in another disk on my pc?
Is it possible to install the sounds of another product that already install on my pc, like sampletank 4?
I hope you can help me, thanks in advance.
Keep make awesome music!!!

Yes and yes.

If you have not yet installed the sounds library, set the new folder location in the software Preference Settings. Run the IKPM, find the sounds library entry (to be safe, select the folder using "More options ... Install to") and download/install the sounds.

If you have already installed the sounds library, move the complete library to the new folder location. run the software and select that new folder in the software's Preference Settings. Depending on the software, you may need to rebuild the cache database.

For a sounds library, the IKPM uses 2 folders:
-- its own downloads folder (as specified in its Preference settings)
-- the folder into which to install the sounds library.

Once you have installed a sounds library, you can delete the download files from the IKPM downloads folder. BUT, please copy them to a backup disk first before deleting them. Then you will not need to download them again in the future, avoiding a possible download reactivation fee and saving time / possible download issues etc.
