Exporting WAV and no wah wah effects recorded...

Postby kalinkakeno14 » Sat Jun 04, 2022 9:09 pm

Hi there, I'm running amplitube 5 using the AXE I/O audio interface. When I use the wah wah effects controlling it with my expression pedal (https://i.gyazo.com/214fcda281060d8d7f3 ... 78ebb5.jpg) it works fine. The problem is when I export the track to wav. No wah effects can be heard. Is there a fix for this? Thank you

The built-in recorder in AmpliTube 5 does not have automation, so for that type of functionality you'd want to use AmpliTube 5 as a plugin in your DAW and use host automation to keep track of the wah movements so they'll play back.

If your DAW is Logic Pro, this video is priceless!

So on top of the 245€ I paid for amplitube, plus 319 € for the amplitube MAX upgrade, plus 350 € for the AXE I/O interface plus 110 € for the expression pedal I can either:

-Buy a Mac for whatever thousands of euros it costs just for recording songs
-Buy a DAW for several hundred euros, and learn to use it when on your website the amplitube 5 webpage says this https://i.gyazo.com/caecea1c58d3a28a527 ... 2c9a65.jpg

Any other options?

If not, I guess my money was wasted down the drain, is there any way to ask for a refund? The axe I/O was bought from a third party store.

It does have a built-in recorder with the features mentioned on the page, yes. You can get free DAWs like Cakewalk by BandLab or very reasonable DAWs like Reaper ($60 for a non-commercial license but they give a long trial period and do allow you to go longer than that trial period) for full DAW capabilities like automation, MIDI, etc.

Also, your AXE I/O should unlock Ableton Live Lite per https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/a ... php?p=apps (more info and instructions available on that page too).
