How can I update AmpliTube 4 ?

Hi everyone.


I know my question sounds stupid, but I see no option to update my software when I launch AmpliTube.


What is the correct way to update Amplitube 4 on Mac.

You should be alerted that a new version is available when you run the Custom Shop application (in your Start Menu on Windows or in the Applications folder on Mac). Also, you can always download the latest version in your IK User Area at http://www.ikmultimedia.com/userarea under "My Products"

There is no "upgrade" button, there are no clear instructions. It's like I fell into a Vegas hotel. I love amplitube gear, but the software management needs work.

Update and upgrade are two different things.

Are you looking to "update" a version of the software to the next increment i.e. AT 4.5.1 to version 4.6? If so, then Peter's response is how you should do this.

If you want to "upgrade" from say AT3 to AT4, then this is a completely separate piece of software which needs to be downloaded and installed from fresh.

Folks, there's NO UPDATE BUTTON. Oh sure, it SAYS "Update from 5.3.0 to 5.4.0, but there is no button! I've rolled my mouse everywhere in the dialogue box, there's no button. I've looked under Products, Release Notes, Manuals and Presets. There's no button.
