I found it depends on how you power up and connect to the iPhone or IPad. Best result I have with power stomp I/O with iOS device disconnected, then start AmpliTube and then connect the lightening cable. Otherwise stomp I/O may not be detected and is not working or it is even crashing the IOS so that my iPad is rebooting. I tried this now with 2 different stomps and 2 iPads and q iPhone 10XR. When it‘s working it is great! All IOS devices are now on IOS15. I contacted technical support but they did not find a fix but exchanged the unit. The new one is behaving identical.
