Default startup gear in Amplitube 5

Short question:

How do I change the default gear which is loaded at app launch in Amplitube 5?
I just want to have my favorite amp setup directly loaded with the app, not the Plexi-thing.

1) Just open the Default preset (you might want to make a copy of it beforehand).
2) Make the tweaks you want and then hit the 'Save' button (a little box with the downward arrow inside it to the right of the preset list), which will bring up the Save dialog box.
3) Hit 'Save' again, which will bring up the confirmation box (File already exists...).
4) Hit 'Overwrite'.

Voila...

This doesn't work. It wants to have a name put in when I hit save and then doesn't overwrite the default but creates a new one.

I've searched the entire disk for files with the *.at5p suffix. But there are no other files than those under ~/Documents/IK Multimedia/Amplitube 5/Presets.
But since there is no preset named in the top left corner when I start Amplitube I do not know which is the one to overwrite.
Then I tried do delete this whole preset folder and the preset.db so that there's only the default to start from. But same thing then. It loads the Plexi amp and when I change settings and hit save it requests a new name and stores it in that preset directory.

I'm seeing the same behaviour as @SDM_T_RACKS to overwrite the default.

I would suggest opening a ticket with Official IK Support and they will be able to help you.

Hey,

I just found a solution whose principle I copied from the MODO Bass app.
Just create a preset with the Name »Default« in the Top Level of the preset folder.
With the next start it will load with your favorite gear.
