LF Extension Switch 80Hz cutoff …

Just got my iLoud MTMs today. User manual says to hold the LF Extension switch until all 3 lights (60,50,40Hz) come on to activate the 80Hz cutoff. I held the switch down for up to 2 minutes and all 3 lights will NOT come on. How do I enter 80Hz cutoff mode to accommodate my sub?

The new firmware works but when I turn off the monitors and turn them back on automatically the cut disappears repositioning itself on 50 hz which is a big hassle as I have to manually reposition the cut every time I turn them on.

I have the same issue. My MTMs won't keep the LF Extension or CAL settings through a power cycle. I'm pretty sure these settings persisted when I purchased in the MTMs in December 2020. I suspect the issue manifested with the 1.20 firmware update in November 2021. I didn't notice at the time because I turn off my MTMs and Sub using a remote power switch so I don't look around the back of the MTMs very much.

I have updated the firmware to 1.2.1 and done a factory reset. The issues is the same.

I have contacted support regarding the above.

I have discovered that the settings are only lost during a power cycle if 80Hz is selected for LF Extension. If the LF Extension is set to 60Hz, this setting and others (e.g. CAL) are persisted through a power cycle. It seems pretty clear that issue is only affecting the newer firmware (1.2.0 and 1.2.1) with the 80Hz setting.

I have updated support with this information, although I have not been contacted since logging the issue.

If anyone is interested, the 1.2.2 Firmware fixes the issue with settings loss when the 80Hz LF is set.
