Stomp i/o not M1 Silicon compatible??

Postby audio4entertainment » Tue Nov 30, 2021 9:38 pm

Just received a new Stomp i/o today and it just won't work with AmpliTube 5 Max. Buttons light up but any presses do nothing in Amplitube. Then connected it to my old non M1 iMac, installed Amplitube and it works.

Is anyone using the Stomp i/o on an M1 machine?

What a frustrating experience!

What I found out after losing an entire evening is that the i/o Stomp can not be used on USB-Hubs but only on native USB 3 ports (on a Mac).

PLUS: the dc adaptor shipped with my unit appears to be broken, hence I am unable to use it to power the device while connected to a hub (the new M1 Mac Mini models have only two native USB 3.1 ports).
