AT5 is also crashing on Big Sur (11.6.1) on a m1 mac mini.
Probably due to this same security update I guess...
I creaated a support ticket, but does anyone have any news on the topic?

AmpliTube 5 works great here on M1 (but Monterey). I'm sure IK Support can get you up and running as your issue with Big Sur isn't going to be related to the Catalina security update that broke some programs (including ours) and is being worked on.

I also sent a note in about the Big Sur and M1 FAQ because I believe at least one and perhaps both could use a refresher :)

Ok, I've found the issue.
MacOS "Documents" folder access wasn't allowed for Ableton Live (woah, these recent macOS are full of security restrictions all over!).
After giving access to this folder to Live both AT4 and AT5 are now running fine.

FWIW, Syntronik and Syntronik2 worked ok with 2021-007 10.15.7 security patch on Catalina 10.15.7 (on late 2012 i7 mini server). Syntronik2 was installed after the security patch, and Syntronik updated/reinstalled.

This is very frustrating. Have submitted my own ticket to IK. Has anyone has any success without having to undo the Catalina update?

I guess the question of the day is whether the newly updated Amplitube 5.3.0 fixes the issue with the Catalina security update. Do we have an answer to this yet?

no, in my case. Keep giving me the same problem, it closes quickly.
I´m losing hope that they will help us to solve it, without having to go back to the previous Catalina software compromising the security of the computer. In my opinion, after the time that has elapsed, it does not seem serious at all.
