Product Manager pauses download on its own

In the process of installing Syntronik 2 sound libraries, I face the problem that Product Manager pauses downloads without user interaction. The sound libraries are huge file so I cannot attend the process all the time. It happened now several times that Product Manager was pausing when I returned to the PC after some minutes or hours. What's going on, in which situations may the download switch to pause?

Thank you for jumping in. I guess it was caused by a weak internet connection. In the meantime it works as desired. Thanks.

I also have the same problem and it is tedious and causes a corrupt file as a consequence. I am struggling with my wifi being good enough and it causes constant interruptions in the downloads.

Are you running out of disk space?

Also, check where you are pointing the downloads to. Are you pointing to an external drive or local drive? What I have noticed is, when pointing to an external drive, it becomes unreliable sometimes. What I do is I have a scratch folder on a local drive, for example, C:\tmp and point PM to that folder, I let it do it's thing, and then when done, I just move all the contents from C:\tmp to an external drive and keep the folder structure intact.

I am IT pro.... I am using internal drive with epical amount of free space. Nothing bad here. Btw. this "negotiation" is pointless, because I have tons of management software for VST products (Like UVI, NI, Arturia, Spitfire etc etc etc) and there is not issue at all while downloading epical amount of data on the same internal storage.

So you should solve this for us. Not we for you guys. And I am sorry to say that, because I love your plugins.

p.s. what is more, I have only 180 days to download all my files (total max 3,5) but I think there are so many corrupted files, you should make the limit endless. And I don't mention how long it takes to download like 700GB of files and to reinstall all the libraries. Noone wants to do that of course, because it is a true pain in the a*s

I contacted the support like 10 x times... the answer was we will forward your question to our specialised team... and nothing happened. Your software sounds outstanding, but your support is horrible. What is more, why should I contact support for God's sake? Fix your download manager. Period. You cannot see how many user complaining /any many of them suffer it quietly/?

Have a gr8 saturday and please, listen to the feedback. Don't try to teach us, how to fix your problems, or contant another support, which is NOT working.

This doesn't happen to everybody so it would be something that the support team would need to help you with. If their suggestions didn't fix your problem or you need an update on your case please simply respond to your ticket and the support representative will gladly reply.
