Sampletank 4 max not recognizing midi controller

I just upgraded from sampletank 3 to sampletank 4 max. While I'm waiting for the new sounds to download i opened the app and i see that my old st3 and syntronik sounds were imported but when I try to play them I get nothing. It wont recognize my midi controller. I checked the midi settings and I have my midi controller selected but still nothing. I have a nektar lx61 midi controller and I'm on catalina 10.15.7.

Is this in standalone or through your DAW.

If through your DAW, which DAW?

Have you matched the MIDI channel between your midi controller and ST4?

I’m in standalone mode. It seems like i can only play sounds loaded on channel 12 in st4.

Double check what Channel your MIDI controller is transmitting on. (See Page 12 of the user guide)
