Problems with AXE I/O control panel in M1 MAC

Postby mikebr8on » Mon Nov 08, 2021 9:38 pm

I cannot click on any button on my AXE I/O control panel. Nothing responds.

However, I CAN connect to the device through my DAW and use it to hear audio playback.
(I haven't tested recording.)

I'm running MAC OS Big Sur on an M1 MAC, which I've read is supported.
(except for editing MIDI controller values. It seems that's a glitch, for now.)

That info is here:
https://www.ikmultimedia.com/faq/index.php?id=1412
and here:
https://www.ikmultimedia.com/faq/?id=1309

Note: I'm connecting the AXE I/O to the MAC by using a small USB adapter that converts to USB-C. My guess is that should be good.

The software say the device is connected. See the pic.
(Wait, I don't know how to upload a pic. Anyone?)

All help is appreciated.

Have you opened a ticket with IK Support? They would be able to assist you if no users chime in here as this is not a technical support forum but users may have suggestions for you.

Our products should work well on M1 machines so I'm sure they can figure out what is happening in your case.
