SampleTank 4 standalone with ASIO channels other than 1/2

Hi

I installed SampleTank 4 on my windows 10 machine. The vst3 plugin seems to work okay within a DAW.

However, if I run it as a standalone, it has some issues. I set the audio driver to ASIO and set the L/R channels to my audio interface's channel 3 and channel 4, respectively. BTW, my audio interface is RME's digiface USB.

Then, I cannot hear any sound. However, if I change the channels to 1 and 2 of the same ASIO driver, it works fine. This is not an issue of routing. I confirmed this.

Of course, in my DAW, I can set the ASIO channel to 3 and 4 and it works just fine, since the sound is handled by the DAW.

I think this is a bug.

BTW, if I use Windows Audio driver and choosing the same channel(ADAT 3+4, for example) WDM output, the sounds come out without an issue.

Sample tank won't work in Standalone, with Adat. I reported this some time ago. I was told that I would have to use the the analogue out. By the sounds of it, they don't intend to do anything about it. No problem with a vst host though.
