Can You Uninstall Only Standalones?

Postby jd21234 » Sun Oct 10, 2021 10:37 am

I'm running out of hard drive space (again), so I need to free up some. Is there any way to uninstall the AmpliTube/Syntronik, etc only the standalone part and keep the VSTs intact? Also, now that I have AmpliTube 5, can I uninstall AT 3 & 4?

Also, does IK store old zipped files of the installed programs somewhere that I could delete them? Running Win 7 64-bit.

Thanks.

Hi jd21234

Unless someone else chimes in with concrete experience, I would probably say not. The apps themselves are fairly small (on my Mac AT5 in 70mb, Syntronik only 10) so wouldn't claw you back much space. To be sure you could always open a ticket with Official Support

You can, but bear in mind that AT5 doesn't automatically supersede 3 and 4 so any DAW projects you have with the older versions won't open properly.

Yes. If you go to your User Area>My Products on the site, next to each product name there is a button marked "Past Releases" where you'll find previous versions.

Hope that helps.
