Syntronic Sample Tank storage location help

Postby tommartini604 » Wed Sep 29, 2021 2:16 pm

So I have a general storage question on two products. Sample Tank and Syntronic.

When you buy the expansions for either program, where does each get installed? Do you install Shipwreck Piano(or other packs like this) to the Syntronic Folder or Sample Tank one? I set up a folder for each product on an external SSD drive.

I notice its under Sounds in the downloader. Are sounds for the two read by each version?

I'm new to the storage regarding these types of software so any help is appreciated, thanks.

I'm on Windows 10 machine BTW.

You should have two sounds library locations
-- one for SampleTank 4 (and ST4 add-on sounds libraries)
-- and the second for SampleTank 3 (and Syntronik, Miroslav Philharmonik 2 and ST3 add-on sounds libraries)

Have a look at this FAQ for more details: https://www.ikmultimedia.com/faq/index.php?id=1239

Use the IK Product Manager to download and install the individual libraries and read these Tips first: https://cgi.ikmultimedia.com/ikforum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=26365. Be careful to select the correct folder for the sounds libraries.
