Setting up parts and instruments for Live Mode

Is there a tutorial somewhere for setting up presets for using Live Mode?

I looked at the manual on this section and I get how to invoke it and use it, but I am wondering how do you actually setup the presets to be used?

And a supplementary question please: Where does ST4 save a newly created Multi? I went to the Multis folder and saw all the factory ones, but the one I just saved does not appear?

And is it possible to save to a user created folder?
