What do the numbers after the articulation mean

Postby chriso0258 » Wed Sep 15, 2021 5:44 pm

When I bring up the key switch set in Philharmonik 2 I notice various articulation have numbers after them. For example, in the 3 Trumpets Multi articulations there is Portamento 0,5; Portamento 1,0; Portamento 2,5. In the violins there is Staccato 0,3.

What do all the number mean? I looked at the articulation section in the manual but it doesn't explain them.

Thanks for your help.

This is Italian software.

I believe the comma can be read a decimal point. Thus 4,5 can be read as “four and a half”.
